Sub-60 Club Tee

The Sub-60 Club. The number every golfer who picks up the game eventually learns to respect. Most people will never break 90. The ones who do will spend a lifetime chasing 80, then 70, and a small handful will get there. But 59 is something else entirely. 59 is the line almost no one on Earth has ever crossed. In nearly fifty years of professional golf, it has happened fifteen times.

Al Geiberger was the first, at Memphis in 1977. Fourteen others have followed him. One of them shot a 58. Together they form a club of fifteen that no one chooses to join. The game decides.

This shirt is a record of that club. The front carries the number itself, hand-circled the way a golfer marks a ball that did something worth remembering. The back carries the full list, in order, in the typography of an old scorecard. If the number means something to you, you already know what you're looking at.
